Project Manager (Construction) - Serbia

Permanent employee, Full-time · RS Belgrade

What functions will you perform?

Participate in the renewable energy projects in Serbia (solar energy)
Review the necessary technical designs and studies required prior and during the project development process (technical layouts, connection studies, etc)
Support all administrative and technical aspects o for secured projects
Ensure project metrics comply with HSE, budget, time and quality criteria and policies
Coordination within the local Team (Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Legal, Development and HSE)
Estimate the project budget and cash flow
Follow-up cost controlling to avoid deviations
Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with EPC subcontractors and vendors, and oversee all subcontractors’ work in all phases
Supervise project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project’s success
Communication with stakeholders
Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact
Collaborate with Team members and other departments to ensure alignment of company activities with broader business goals.
Support ad-hoc tasks in order to achieve the company’s business and growth strategy, ensuring business

Your profile

Technical university degree (preferably in electrical, energy engineering or related fields)
At least 5 years of working experience in similar position
Specific knowledge in the development/construction of renewable energy projects is an advantage
Project management skills
Problem–solving mindset and creative thinking
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Familiarity with the regulatory environment and solar industry standards in Serbia
Serbian and English knowledge is a must
